FAQ

Where do you deliver?

We only deliver to certain suburbs of the City of Sydney, Inner West, and North Sydney. You can check to see if we deliver to your area on our delivery information page.

How much is delivery?

Flowers from the Grove operates their own florist delivery service. Delivery is priced at $15 per order.

What if nobody is home to receive the delivery?

If nobody is home and we are able to leave the flowers in a safe location, this is what we will do. Our flowers are always wet-wrapped to last out of water for some time. However, some properties do not allow for the flowers to be left safely; apartments, for example. Also, during hot weather or heavy rain, we will not leave flowers at an address unless it is fully safe to do so. In the event your flowers cannot be delivered, then they will be returned to our studio. The recipient is welcome to collect the flowers from our studio (free of charge), or we can re-deliver the flowers for you (there is a re-delivery charge involved based on the area).

How long will my flowers last?

Generally speaking, our native bouquets can last as long as 2–4 weeks, depending on variety and season. We always craft our bouquets with flowers picked in the season to maximise the lifespan of your bunch. Traditional flowers (Poppies, tulips, roses etc.) generally last 5–14 days, depending on the variety. Be sure to change the water every 4–5 days and recut stems (2cm) each time.

What days do you go to market?

Our team hand-selects fresh flowers from local growers at the flower market every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

What is the best way to take care of my flowers to keep them fresh?

Be sure to change the water every 4–5 days and recut stems (2cm) each time.

Can I dry my bouquet?

Most native arrangements will dry beautifully. Make sure you take them out of the water after 3–4 weeks and remove any of the more perishable flowers to avoid rot. You can return it to the same (dry) vase or dry it upside down. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from too much moisture for longevity.
